About the Event
This class will introduce Bartram's observations on nature, landscape, and culture in the South on the eve of the Revolutionary War, followed by a discussion of the documentary "Cultivating the Wild: William Bartram's Travels" and the film-making process. Presenter: Dorinda G. Dallmeyer holds three degrees from the University of Georgis: B.S. and M.S. degrees in geology and a J.D. She is an award-winning radio producer and photographer. In 2018, Dorinda retired after a 13-year career directing the Environmental Ethics Certificate Program at UGA.
